Dr. Abella is a Licensed Psychologist in Olathe, KS, currently accepting BCBS of KC, Aetna, Tricare, United, and self-pay clients. Lenexa native, TCU graduate ('00), earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology ('06). Licensed since 2007, with experience in outpatient and inpatient mental health. Married with two children, she's passionate about supporting women in pregnancy and postpartum stages. Specializing in work-life balance, she connects quickly with clients, fostering resilience. She works primarily with adults over the age of 18 years old. With over 20 years of experience working with children in various settings, Beth helps those struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, attachment and relationship issues, and difficulties related to ADHD, Dyslexia, and other learning differences. With experience across various settings, including outpatient mental health centers, corrections, and integrated healthcare, his current practice primarily focuses on adults. He specializes in treating health-related concerns such as weight/body image, behavioral pain management, behavioral sleep, and coping with chronic illness, as well as trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and life transitions. Utilizing an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, he helps individuals identify values, enhance present moment awareness, and address the impact of past experiences to improve overall wellbeing. Susan Hale is a specialist in psychiatry and family practice, with a focus on neuroscience. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing and board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Rockhurst University and Research College of Nursing (2008). She is also a Certified Neuroscience RN through the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and recently earned her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Cincinnati. Susan works with individuals across all age groups, addressing various mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. Her dual expertise in mental health and family medicine allows for a comprehensive approach to care. Vy (pronounced “Vee”) is a therapy practicum student currently training under the supervision of Dr. Abella and Dr. Garlock while pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Kansas City University. With a background in human development and health communications, her path into mental health is rooted in a deep commitment to connection, understanding, and meaningful change. Before graduate school, Vy worked in community-based organizations and public health, developing a strong passion for accessible care and collaborative support. She recently completed a diagnostic practicum focused on working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with late-diagnosed autism and ADHD. Outside of the therapy space, she enjoys crafts (especially junk journaling), exploring Kansas City, spending time with loved ones, and caring for her dog. She earned her credentials through the University of Kansas, Cleveland University–Kansas City (Chiropractic), the Kharrazian Institute of Functional Medicine, and Medality Advanced Imaging. Dr. Morgan Julo
Dr. Julo treats a wide variety of patients and is passionate about creating a healthcare space that is safe and inclusive for all genders, races, and identities. They hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Science from KCU and a Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University. Their vast education background led them to combine chiropractic care, exercise, ergonomics, nutrition, and supplementation to support the body’s natural ability to heal and thrive. Dr. Julo uses a wide variety of techniques including manual adjusting, flexion-distraction, craniosacral therapy, bio-geometric integration, myofascial release, and more.
Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Dr. Julo with their wife, hosting community mandala and meditation circles, cooking, walking their two dogs, Sunny and Moonie, or getting lost in a science fiction or fantasy novel.
